Japolitaly Restaurant @Boracay

Our first dinner at Boracay was at Japolitaly near Balabag Beach. From the name itself, it is a mix Italian-Japanese Restaurant.

We ended up ordering from their Japanese menu

Annake Yakisoba (fried noodles)

Yakisoba

Tori Karagage (fried Chicken)

Sakana Furai (fried fish fillet)

For a family of 5, it would just be around P 185/pax.

The food taste is ok but nothing really Japanese about it except for the names, the serving though is good to share.

The location is not on the main street and is quite deserted.

Overall it was an average experience, but on our next Boracay vacay we’ll skip this one.

Yeah, you’re right. Just by looking at the pictures, one would notice that there’s nothing Japanese about the food. Even their Yakisoba looks just like our pancit canton.

nothing Japanese or Italian by the looks of it! good thing you didn’t pay much or else it’d be very disappointing.

Oh yes, I agree, too! Their food selection is just like our own Filipino dishes that were just given Japanese name. I don’t know about the taste, though. :)

Sakana Furai is a bit expensive but still worth a try. It looks so good!
