June Weddings
I wonder why June is the most popular month for wedding dates? Everyone wants to be a June bride, I could understand if it’s January so that it’s a good start or February because it’s the love month or December because family are usually together for Christmas.
It’s June and I received several invitations for a wedding, oh don’t get me wrong I love weddings! I am a hopeless romantic and believes in happy ever after. I get teary eyed when the bride walks down the aisle to meet her groom. And of course I love the party after, including the food and program.
Weddings can be a simple gathering to lavish party. A lot of events particularly wedding organizers sprung out of nowhere. Different wedding packages are offered here and there. I know it’s a once in a lifetime experience but the bride and groom-to-be should sit down and decide on their wedding budget. Something that is within their range or in lay mans term something they can afford. I know several people who spent quite a fortune for a one day wedding and paid it off for years. There are a lot of affordable banquet halls available. Even wedding reception Dallas can be quite affordable. You really just search and use your network. A lot of family and friends will be more than willing to help out. I’ve read a lot of do it yourself wedding which turns out to be as lovely as those expensive packaged offered by some known wedding organizer or guru. Ask family and friends to help you make personalized invitations, souvenirs, bouquets even the bride’s and bridesmaid’s gowns.
In the end, it’s between the bride and groom to decide how to realize their dream wedding, I am just saying that they need to be practical.

actually month does not matter as long as both of them are ready.. actually it is good if they chose it other months for prices are not at its peak.
May be because it is a tradition. I think June was named after Juno, goddess of marriage and family. What matters most is, the couples are prepared during this wedding bliss.
I got married June! Hahaha! No particular reason why. So now we celebrate, 2 birthdays (me and my son) and our anniversary.
I actually asked the same question just a few days ago. Haha. But what anne lei said was reasonable. So, yeah, maybe.
some of my friends wanted to be a June bride…but what i know is that June is simply the traditional month for an American wedding because of the nice weather in the US during this month
